ITP Placemaking Tool
The ITP Placemaking Tool provides a summary of the potential challenges and opportunities posed by existing site connectivity. It suggests the kind of transport interventions that might be needed to deliver great place outcomes, taking into account the scale of proposed development.
The tool can be used anywhere in England and Wales and makes use of the DfT's connectivity data to understand how well connected by walking, cycling and public transport a site is to key facilities. It draws on our experience of delivering vision-led transport strategies and masterplans across the UK.
